Waiting Patiently is a quietly powerful drawing from Pamela Watson’s Pandemic series. Rendered in delicate graphite, it features a horse tethered to a fence line at Cheyenne Frontier Days in Wyoming, calmly waiting its turn to be ridden. Although drawn from a pre-pandemic memory, the image took on new significance during 2021.
