Solitude captures the quiet majesty of Colorado’s open spaces—where sky stretches endlessly, and a lone pronghorn stands grounded in the vastness. Inspired by time spent exploring the Pawnee National Grasslands with her dog, Pamela Casarez painted this large-scale work as a meditation on scale, silence, and the feeling of being both humbled and held by the land.
