Fair Day Sheep is a 7.25″ x 5.5″ watercolor painted on site at a local 4H fair during the years when my children were small. This early piece captures a white-faced sheep set against a warm golden yellow background, evoking the light and energy of a summer fairground. The painting holds a special place in my journey, marking one of my first plein air works and a moment of simple joy—both in motherhood and in the beginnings of my life as an artist.
