Eel River

This 8 x 10 painting was fun to paint. It was completed with a pallet knife on board allowing the texture of the paint to become part of the design. The view is of the Eel River while it runs through Columbia City, Indiana. Pamela was in middle of raising three very active children and took a quick break one day and set up her easel while in town on errands. It remains one of the artist’s favorite works.
