This 18″ x 24″ acrylic painting captures a Small Egret poised in stillness, illuminated against a backdrop of deep greens and shadowed water. Held in Quiet Light is a deeply personal and collaborative work, rooted in a photograph taken by Pamela Watson’s sister during her time living in Chicago. The location was not just scenic—it was sacred. A place she returned to for prayer and meditation, offering a sense of peace within the constant noise and movement of the city.
Drawing from this shared experience, Pamela Watson thoughtfully reimagined the scene, subtly rearranging elements to emphasize tranquility and emotional resonance.
