Description
High Plains Wind
10” x 7” Watercolor on Paper | Pamela Casarez, 2018 (Unsigned)
Painted during a creative session with the Greeley Art Association, High Plains Wind captures the open skies and enduring spirit of northeastern Colorado. The scene features a classic windmill standing tall against a brilliant blue sky, with towering clouds drifting across the high plains.
Created during the artist’s time living in Greeley, Colorado (2016–2018), this piece reflects the calm strength of the landscape and the rhythm of rural life. The loose, expressive watercolor technique adds movement and atmosphere, making this a striking addition for collectors of Western landscapes or those drawn to wide, open skies.
